California Cooperative Oceanic Fisheries Investigations (CalCOFI) is a partnership between the Integrative Oceanography Division at SIO, National Marine Fisheries Service at the Southwest Fisheries Science Center La Jolla, & the California Dept of Fish & Game. This ancillary site of calcofi.org compiles information specific to the SIO portion of CalCOFI work. The SIO-CalCOFI Technical Group manages the CTD-rosette systems deployed on CalCOFI cruises and is responsible for the core seawater measurements (collection, analyses, & data processing) at sea.

ERDDAP
ERDDAP is a Data Access Program designed by Environmental Research Division (NOAA) that gives you a simple, consistent way to download subsets of scientific datasets in common file formats and make graphs and maps. This particular ERDDAP installation will present CalCOFI time-series oceanographic data. Currently, this site mirrors the CalCOFI portion of NOAA's Coast Watch ERDDAP server (http://coastwatch.pfeg.noaa.gov/erddap/index.html) and it is with their help that we are able to present CalCOFI data from 1949-1998. Post-1998 data is forthcoming. CalCOFI ERDDAP server link.
